Laboratory of «Ship Internal Combustion Engines» is equipped with operating engines (functional motors) as follows:

• 5ВАН22 with a load device;

• ship's electric power plant in the composition of diesel engine 3406 and 3116 Caterpillar with a load device;

• Engine С9 Caterpillar with a boring machine transmission;

• laboratory of the oil analyses units

Also there are non-operational  engines: С-8, 3176В, С6,6, 3116 Caterpillar.

The laboratory is equipped with modern devices for exploring and studying of operational processes of ship diesels.

Laboratory of «Maintenance and Repairing»

The laboratory is equipped with modern diesel engine 3408Е and 3508В Caterpillar. Also it is equipped with various parts of ship middle-speed and low-speed diesel engines, tools and trouble-shooting devices for trouble shooting.

Laboratory of «Ship auxiliary machines and boiler units» is equipped with:

• various pumps;

• operating control power unit;

• furnace plant "Monarch" and "Oilon";

• imitator "Ship boiler plant";

• laboratory units for the exploring of heat conductance at the forced flow in heat-exchange unit of “tube in tube” type, «Bernoulli’s relation», «Hydraulic losses»;

• Hydraulic Systems Simulator;

• Full Size Refrigerating Container;

• various components of ship auxiliary mechanisms and systems;

• a set of gas sensors for the analyses of gas composition in the в tanks.

The laboratory has the following training-laboratory stands:

• water level regulators;

• steam pressure regulators;

• rotation frequency regulators;

• temperature regulators;

• electrical regulators of rotation frequency;

• remote control systems of  a ship main low-speed diesel engine.

Laboratory of «Ship Turbine Units» is equipped with:

• full size ship turbines;

• gas turbocharger

• components of ship turbines and their auxiliary mechanisms.

Inter-departmental Laboratory is equipped with:

• simulator of ship power plant for tanker 100000t  Dieselsim by Norcontrol company;

• simulator of ship power plant ERS-4000 by Transas company;

• simulator of ship boiler unit by Ship Analytic company;

• simulator of ship power plant by Ship Analytic company;

• simulator of ship steam turbine power plant for gas carrier ERS-5000 by Transas company;

• cargo ballast simulator by Transas company;

• cargo ballast simulator by Honeywell company;

• testing complexes Delta-engineer;

• computer class for 24 operational sits.

Laboratory of Practical Training

Drill-operating workshops comprise four areas as follows:

• lathe area,

• fitter’s area,

• milling area,

• welding area.

Welding and milling areas were reconstructed and reequipped with the modern equipment, in 2012 and 2013.

Laboratory of «Electric Machine»

The laboratory is equipped with the simulator of  Azipod type automated electric propulsion installation.

The technical facilities of the laboratory are being continuously up-graded.

Laboratory of «Ship high-voltage electric power systems»

The laboratory was launched in 2012 under the support of  Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd.. The laboratory is equipped with:

• the simulator of  ship electric power system ERS-5000 by Transas company, model of the ship «Tanker-food carrier», a passenger ship of DP-2 class;

• high-voltage equipment by АВВ company: switchgear Unigeare ZS-1, a transformer and power sections, high-voltage transformer, maintenance and safety facilities for high-voltage systems.

Laboratory of «Ship automated electric power systems»

• simulator of «Ship automated electric power system» based on the microprocessor system Delomatuc-3 by Deif company;

• up-graded simulator of «Ship automated electric power system» AHIM with  a microprocessor control system on  PPM blocks by Deif company;

• up-graded simulator of «Ship automated electric power system» Irtysh with micro processing power system on the blocks of Selka company.
